General terms and conditions
A letter of engagement accompanied by our standard terms and conditions will be provided to the client at the commencement of any engagement to which they apply.
English law will be applicable, with the English Courts having exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim, dispute or difference concerning the service and any matter arising from it.
Our professional indemnity insurance is arranged by: Arthur J Gallagher, Custom House, The Waterfront, Level Street, Brierley Hill, West Midlands, DY5 1XH. The territorial coverage extends to acts or omissions arising out of Moscrops Estate Agents Limited professional business on a worldwide basis (excluding the USA & Canada).
Our bank accounts are held with: Barclays, 2 Liscard Village, Wallasey, Wirral, Merseyside, CH45 4JS. Deposit monies are held in Moscrops Estate Agents Limited t/as Moscrops Clients Deposit Account. Rent & other client monies are held in Moscrops Estate Agents Limited t/as Moscrops Clients General Account.
If applicable, any interest earned will be retained by Moscrops Estate Agents Limited.

Client Money Protection (CMP) Scheme
We are members of RICS which means that we are covered by the RICS Client Money Protection (CMP) Scheme and where relevant, will apply the rules of this Scheme to our client money handling procedures. The RICS CMP Scheme is operated in line with the requirements set out in The Client Money Protection Schemes for Property Agents (Approval and Designation of Schemes) Regulations 2018.

Complaints Handling Procedure (CHP)
Moscrops are committed to providing a professional service to all clients and customers and if something goes wrong we need to know about it. In the event that you feel dissatisfied with our service and have a complaint that you have been unable to resolve satisfactorily with us we operate a formal Complaints Handling Procedure (CHP). For Consumer Clients, we are members of The Property Ombudsman (TPO) scheme and comply with this Code of Practice which provides for the resolution of complaints that are not satisfactorily resolved between the parties.
